Asset Types

The Asset Types page provides the ability to manage asset types.

Available operations:

• Create new asset types by clicking on the New Asset Type button
• Install new asset types by clicking on the Install Asset Type button
• View a list of asset types in ReadyWorks
  • Columns available
    • Id (hidden by default) – System Id of the asset type
    • Name – Name of the asset type
    • Function – Function of the asset type (asset or list)
    • Menu Order – Order of each asset type on the navigation menu. Each asset function (asset, list, status list) is ordered separately.
    • Menu Show – Whether the asset type will display or be hidden on the navigation menu
    • Parent – Parent of the asset type
• View the properties of asset types by clicking the hyperlink of the Name field
• Copy asset types by selecting an asset type (row) and clicking the Copy Asset Type button on the toolbar
• Download an asset type schema ZIP by selecting an asset type (row) and clicking the Download Asset Type button on the toolbar
• Delete asset types by selecting an asset type (row) and clicking the Delete Asset Type button on the toolbar
• You can also change the number of visible rows in the table, view full screen, set column visibility, export to CSV or Excel, refresh the table and search for text
