Task Chain Templates

The Task Chain Templates page provides the ability to create task chain templates to load into your migration waves.  Task chain template are used with self service scheduling to populate a set of tasks for each computer scheduled.

Available operations:

• Create new task chain templates by clicking on the New Task Chain Template button
• View a list of task chain templates in ReadyWorks
  • Columns available
    • Name – Name of the task chain template
    • Description – Description of the task chain template
    • Tasks – Number of tasks in the task chain template
    • Status – Whether the task chain template is enabled or disabled
    • Date Created (hidden by default) – Date the task chain template was created
• View the properties of task chain templates by clicking the hyperlink of the Name field
• Copy task chain templates by selecting a task chain template (row) and clicking the Copy Task Chain Template button on the toolbar
• Delete task chain templates by selecting a task chain template (row) and clicking the Delete Task Chain Template button on the toolbar
• You can also change the number of visible rows in the table, view full screen, set column visibility, export to CSV or Excel, refresh the table and search for text

NOTE:  The system default template is Self Service Portal Scheduling Template.
