Wave Properties

The Wave Properties tab provides the ability to view and update the properties of waves.
Available operations:
- View the properties of the wave
- Fields available (read only)
- Name – Name of the wave
- Wave Type – Type the wave is assigned
- Description – Description of the wave
- Status – Status of the wave (Not Started, In Progress, Complete, Delayed, Failed, On Hold)
- Tasks (% Done) – Total number of tasks completed divide by total number of tasks (also shown as a percentage)
- Start Goal – Estimated start date and time of the wave
- End Goal – Estimated end date and time of the wave
- Start Actual – Actual start date and time of the wave (empty until a wave task has been started or completed)
- End Actual – Actual end date and time of the wave (empty until all wave tasks have been completed)
- Wave Group – Wave group the wave is assigned to (grouping of waves)
- Date Created – Date the wave was created
- Date Updated – Date the wave was last updated
- Fields available (read only)
- Update the properties of the wave. Click the Change Properties button or hyperlink to enter edit mode. In edit mode, click the Update button to save any changes to the properties. Click the Cancel button to exit edit mode. A subset of properties is available for editing.
- Fields available (editable unless otherwise noted)
- Name – Name of the wave
- Wave Type – Assign a wave type to the wave
- Description – Description of the wave
- Start Goal – Estimated start date and time of the wave
- End Goal – Estimated end date and time of the wave
- Start Actual – Actual start date and time of the wave (read only)
- End Actual – Actual end date and time of the wave (read only)
- Wave Group – Assign the wave to a wave group (grouping of waves)
- The edit function is only available to users in the Administrator and Regular User security groups
- Fields available (editable unless otherwise noted)
- Delete the wave by clicking the Delete Wave button
Delete Wave
From the Wave Properties tab, you can delete the wave. To delete:
- Click the Delete Wave button
- The delete button is only visible when Enable Delete has been checked under Settings – Options (top right corner of the UI)
- The delete function is only available to users in the Administrator and Regular User security groups
- Click the Delete button to confirm the delete operation. Click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
