Record Properties

The Record Properties tab provides the ability to view and update the properties of data records.

Available operations:

• View the properties of the data record
  • Fields available (read only)
    • Name – Name of the data record
    • Data Type Specific Columns – Columns specific to the data type
• Update the properties of the data record. Click the Change Properties button or hyperlink to enter edit mode. In edit mode, click the Update button to save any changes to the properties. Click the Cancel button to exit edit mode.
  • Fields available (editable)
    • Name – Name of the data record
    • Data Type Specific Columns – Columns specific to the data type
  • The edit function is only available to users in the Administrator and Regular User security groups
• Delete the data record by clicking the Delete Record button

Delete Record

From the Record Properties tab, you can delete the data record. To delete:

1. Click the Delete Record button
   
   1. The delete button is only visible when Enable Delete has been checked under Settings – Options (top right corner of the UI)
   2. The delete function is only available to users in the Administrator and Regular User security groups
2. Click the Delete button to confirm the delete operation. Click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
