Asset Type Groups

The Asset Type Groups tab provides the ability to group your asset types on the navigation menu.

Available operations:

  • Create new asset type groups by clicking on the New Asset Type Group button
  • View a list of asset type groups in ReadyWorks
    • Columns available
      • Id (hidden by default) – System Id of the asset type group
      • Name – Name of the asset type group
      • Menu Order – Position of each asset type group on the navigation menu
      • Menu Show – Whether the asset type group will display or be hidden on the navigation menu
        • Filter by Yes, No
      • Parent Group – Parent group of the asset type group
        • Filter by parent group
      • Child Groups – Total number of child groups assigned to the parent group
      • Asset Types – Total number of asset types assigned to the asset type group
  • Edit asset type groups by selecting an asset type group (row) and clicking the Edit Asset Type Group button on the toolbar
  • Delete asset type groups by selecting an asset type group (row) and clicking the Delete Asset Type Group button on the toolbar
  • You can also change the number of visible rows in the table, set column visibility, export to CSV or Excel, refresh the table and search for text
