New Data Type Group

From the Data Type Groups tab, you can create data type groups. To create:
- Click the New Data Type Group button to bring up the New Data Type Group dialog
- Enter the properties of the new data type group
- Name – Name of the data type group (required)
- Icon Class – Select a navigation menu icon for the data type group from the Icon Library
- Icon Color – Select a color for the icon on the navigation menu
- Parent Group – Select the parent group of the data type group
NOTE: Secondary data types are placed in the Secondary data type group by default. Secondary status data types are placed in the Status data type group by default. - Menu Order – Select the position of the data type group on the navigation menu
- Menu Show – Choose if the data type group will display or be hidden on the navigation menu
- Data Types – Select data types from the drop down to assign to the data type group
- Click the Create button when finished to create the data type group. You will be redirected back to the Data Type Groups tab. Click the Close button to cancel the operation.
- The new data type group function is only available to users in the Administrator security group
