Linked Assets

From the Linked Assets tab, you can link assets to and unlink assets from the attachment.

Available operations:

• View assets linked to the attachment
  • Columns available
    • Asset Type – Asset type of the linked asset
    • Asset Name – Name of the linked asset
• View the properties of linked assets by clicking the hyperlink of the Asset Name field
• Link assets to the attachment
• Unlink assets from the attachment by selecting an asset (row) and clicking the Unlink Asset button on the toolbar
• You can also change the number of visible rows in the table, set column visibility, export to CSV or Excel, refresh the table and search for text

Link Assets

From the Linked Assets tab, you can link assets to the attachment. To link:

1. Click the Link Assets button to bring up the Link Assets to Attachment dialog
   
2. Select an asset type to filter the Link Assets drop down (required)
   1. Once an asset type is selected the Link Assets drop down will become available (ungrayed)
3. Select assets from the Link Assets drop down to link to the attachment (required) and then click the Link button. Click the Close button to cancel the operation.

Unlink Assets

From the Linked Assets tab, you can unlink assets from the attachment. To unlink:

1. Select an asset (row) to unlink. Only one asset can be unlinked at a time.
   
2. Click the Unlink Asset button on the toolbar
   
   1. The unlink button is grayed out unless an asset (row) is selected
      
      
   2. The unlink function is only available to users in the Administrator and Regular User security groups
3. Click the Unlink button to confirm the unlink operation. Click the Cancel button to cancel the operation.
