VM Selection

The VM Selection tab provides the ability to add VMs to a strategy.

Available operations:

• View VMs available to add to the strategy
• View the properties of VMs by clicking the hyperlink of the Name field
• Add VMs to the strategy by selecting one or more VMs (rows) and clicking the Add VMs to Strategy button on the toolbar
  • Select all VMs (rows) on the page by clicking the Select All button on the toolbar
  • Deselect all VMs (rows) on the page by clicking the Deselect All button on the toolbar
• Add all VMs to the strategy by clicking the Add all VMs to Strategy button on the toolbar
• You can also change the number of visible rows in the table, view full screen, set column visibility, refresh the table, and search for text

Add VMs

From the VM Selection tab, you can add VMs to a strategy. To add:

1. Select one or more VMs (rows) to add
   
2. Click the Add VMs to Strategy button on the toolbar
   
   1. The add button is grayed out unless a VM (row) is selected
      
      
   2. The add function is only available to users in the Administrator security group
3. Click the Save button to add the selected VMs to the strategy. Click the Clear button to cancel the operation.
   
4. The VMs will be displayed on the VMs in Strategy tab of the strategy
   

Add All VMs

From the VM Selection tab, you can add all VMs to a strategy. To add all:

1. Click the Add all VMs to Strategy button on the toolbar
   
   1. The add all function is only available to users in the Administrator security group
2. The VMs will be displayed on the VMs in Strategy tab of the strategy
