IoTReady

< Back

IoT and edge deployments scale faster than the systems that track them. Sensors, gateways, smart devices, and edge systems are distributed across sites, managed by different teams, and recorded in procurement, CMDB, and device management tools that disagree about what exists and where it is.

IoTReady brings connected devices into the same inventory, governance, and lifecycle management as the rest of the estate, from acquisition through retirement. It aggregates device data into one continuously cleansed view, attaches relationships and dependencies to every asset, and runs deployment, management, troubleshooting, and disposal through automated workflows, with human approval on high-impact steps.

Streamline IoT operations to reduce risk and accelerate outcomes with ReadyWorks IoTReady.

The Challenge

IoT programs carry the endpoint problem at greater scale and with less structure. Device counts are estimated, ownership is unclear, warranty and lease terms sit untracked, and firmware and security state varies by site. Devices are deployed by projects that end, and the records they leave behind age quickly.

Distribution makes it worse. A device on a factory floor or in a retail location is harder to inspect than one on a desk, so the inventory is the only practical source of truth, and it has to be right. Automation applied to an inaccurate device inventory acts at machine speed across sites where nobody is watching.

How IoTReady Works

Aggregate. Procurement, CMDB, and device management systems are connected and reconciled into one view of the IoT estate. Duplicate and stale records are flagged and cleansed, so device counts, warranty status, and location data are correct before anything is scheduled.

Relate. IoT assets are identified along with their relationships and dependencies, so you see which systems a device feeds, which sites a change touches, and what else is affected before work begins.

Orchestrate. Intelligent workflows automate deployment, management, troubleshooting, and disposal across distributed environments, with governance applied consistently at every site. Every action is logged, explainable, and reversible.

Benefits

End-to-End Orchestration Deployment, management, troubleshooting, and disposal run as governed workflows rather than as site-by-site manual effort.
Unified Visibility One view of every connected device across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, from purchase through disposition.
Scalable Governance Policy applied consistently across sites and device types, with an audit trail behind every action.
Lower Manual Effort Reduce manual effort by up to 50% and accelerate deployments by more than 30%.
Audit Readiness Reports generated for ITAM, security, licensing, sustainability, and e-waste tracking.

What You Get

  • IoT data aggregated by connecting procurement, CMDBs, and device management systems.
  • IoT assets identified along with their relationships and dependencies.
  • Intelligent workflows automating deployment, management, troubleshooting, and disposal.
  • Usage, warranty status, and lease terms monitored across the device estate.
  • Audit-ready reports for ITAM, security, licensing, sustainability, and e-waste tracking.

Results

Cineplex reduced onboarding time by 42% using ReadyWorks. Published outcomes for IoTReady include a reduction in manual effort of up to 50% and deployment acceleration of more than 30%. Details are on the ReadyWorks IoTReady page.

Beyond the Device

IoTReady installs the same data fabric, application context layer, and ReadyAI control plane that carry every other ReadyWorks solution. Connected devices depend on the same networks, servers, and applications as the rest of the estate, so a program that starts with IoT extends across it on the same platform, the same data, and the same guardrails.
