Orchestration (ETL4)

The Orchestration tab (ETL4) provides the ability to view and update the ETL4 orchestration properties of the wave.  Adding to and removing from AD groups and SCCM collections are supported.

Available operations:

  • View the orchestration properties of the wave
    • Fields available (read only)
      • Connector – Type of the connector
        • Active Directory (LDAP)
        • SCCM
      • Different fields are available depending on the type of connector:
        • AD Group – Name of the AD Group
        • SCCM Collection – Name of the SCCM Collection
      • Operation – Operation to process
        • Different options are available depending on the type of connector:
          • Active Directory (LDAP)
            • Add to AD Group
            • Remove from AD Group
          • SCCM
            • Add to Collection
            • Remove from Collection
      • Task Process Offset – Number of hours before or after the task start goal to process the operation
      • Task Types – Task types (e.g. Deployment) to process the operation from. If no task type is selected, data records in all task types will be processed.
  • Update the orchestration properties of the wave. Click the Change Properties button or hyperlink to enter edit mode. In edit mode, click the Update button to save any changes to the properties. Click the Cancel button to exit edit mode.
    • Fields available (editable unless otherwise noted)
      • Connector – Type of the connector (required)
        • Active Directory (LDAP)
        • SCCM
      • Different fields are available depending on the type of connector:
        • AD Group – Name of the AD Group (required)
          NOTE: AD Groups from the data type named AD Group with Name, Domain (Lookup), SamAccountName (Text) and Orchestration (Checkbox) columns, and with the Orchestration checkbox set to Yes are listed in the drop down.
        • SCCM Collection – Name of the SCCM Collection (required)
          NOTE: SCCM Collections from the cm_collection ETL table are listed in the drop down.
      • Operation – Operation to perform (required)
        • Different options are available depending on the type of connector:
          • Active Directory (LDAP)
            • Add to AD Group
            • Remove from AD Group
          • SCCM
            • Add to Collection
            • Remove from Collection
      • Task Process Offset – Number of hours before or after the task start goal to process the operation (required)
      • Task Types – Task types (e.g. Deployment) to process the operation from. If no task type is selected, assets in all task types will be processed. (optional)
    • The edit function is only available to users in the Administrator and Regular User security groups
  • View the SCCM deployments initiated by the wave
    • SCCM Collection – Name of the SCCM Collection
    • Data Type – Name of the data type (e.g., Computer)
    • Record Name – Name of the data record
    • SCCM Asset ID – ID of the SCCM asset
    • Status – Status of the operation (Pending, Processing, Success, Error)
    • Operation – Operation to process (ADD, REMOVE)
    • Wave Name – Name of the wave
    • Task Name – Name of the task
    • Date Requested – Date and time the operation was requested
    • Date Processed – Date and time the operation was processed
  • View the AD group deployments initiated by the wave
    • AD Group – Name of the AD Group
    • Data Type – Name of the data type (e.g., Computer, AD Group)
    • Record Name – Name of the data record
    • Status – Status of the operation (Pending, Processing, Success, Error)
    • Operation – Operation to process (ADD, REMOVE)
    • Wave Name – Name of the wave
    • Task Name – Name of the task
    • Date Requested – Date and time the operation was requested
    • Date Processed – Date and time the operation was processed
