New Asset Type Group

From the Asset Type Groups tab, you can create asset type groups. To create:

1. Click the New Asset Type Group button to bring up the New Asset Type Group dialog
2. Enter the properties of the new asset type group
   
   1. Name – Name for the asset type group (required)
   2. Icon Class – Select a navigation menu icon for the asset type group from the icon library
   3. Icon Color – Select a color for the icon on the navigation menu
   4. Parent Group – Select the parent group of the asset type group
      NOTE:  Lists are placed in the List asset type groups by default.
   5. Menu Order – Select the position of the asset type group on the navigation menu
   6. Menu Show – Choose if the asset type group will display or be hidden on the navigation menu
   7. Asset Types – Select asset types from the dropdown to assign to the asset type group
3. Click the Create button when finished to create the asset type group. You will be redirected back to the Asset Type Groups tab. Click the Close button to cancel the operation.
   1. The new asset type group function is only available to users in the Administrator security group
