Primary, Secondary and Secondary Status Data Types define the data structure for your program or workflow. The following sections detail the functionality of the Primary, Secondary and Secondary Status data records.
Key Concepts
| Primary | Main type of data records to be tracked for the project (e.g. Computer, User, Application) |
| Secondary | Dynamic lists used to define data record properties (e.g. Business Unit, Location, Model, Manufacturer) |
| Secondary Status | Type of secondary data type with “Status” at the end of the name (e.g. Migration Status, App Status) |
| Linked Records | Type of data record linked to another data record (e.g. Computer linked to User, Applications linked to Computer) |
| Related Records | Type of data record that is a data column to another data record (e.g. Location of a User) |
