The Data Types page provides the ability to configure the data structure of your ReadyWorks instance. ReadyWorks provides base templates that can be augmented accordingly to assimilate with your organization and project. The following sections detail the functionality of data types.
Key Concepts
| Data Type | Designation of tables used to record data (primary, secondary, secondary status) |
| Primary | Main type of data records to be tracked for the project (e.g. Computer, User, Application) |
| Secondary | Dynamic lists used to define data record properties (e.g. Business Unit, Location, Computer Model, Manufacturer) |
| Secondary Status | Type of secondary data type with “Status” at the end of the name (e.g. Migration Status, App Status) |
