Migration Properties

The Migration Properties panel provides the ability to view and update the properties of migrations. To access the Migration Properties panel, click the tab on the right side of the View Migration page. Click the tab to close the Migration Properties panel.

Available operations:

• View the properties of the migration
  • Fields available (read only)
    • Migration – Name of the migration
    • Migration Type – Type the migration is assigned
    • Group Status – Status of the migration (StatusNotStarted, StatusInProgress, StatusCompleted, StatusCancelled, StatusFailed, StatusOnHold, StatusUnknown)
    • Start Goal – Estimated start date and time of the migration
    • End Goal – Estimated end date and time of the migration
    • Start Actual – Actual start date and time of the migration (empty until a migration plan has been started or completed)
    • End Actual – Actual end date and time of the migration (empty until all migration plans have been completed)
    • Description – Description of the migration
• Update the properties of the migration. Click the Change Properties button to enter edit mode. In edit mode, click the Update button to save any changes to the properties. Click the Cancel button to exit edit mode. A subset of properties is available for editing.
  • Fields available (editable unless otherwise noted)
    • Name – Name of the migration (read only)
    • Migration Type – Type the migration is assigned (read only)
    • Start Goal – Estimated start date and time of the migration (read only when a migration plan has been created)
    • End Goal – Estimated end date and time of the migration
    • Start Actual – Actual start date and time of the migration (read only)
    • End Actual – Actual end date and time of the migration (read only)
    • Description – Description of the migration
  • The edit function is only available to users in the Administrator security group
